Assemble the Tri-pod

Spread legs of the tripod approximately 8.5 feet from the front to the back and have the front two legs about 5 feet apart.

Lay in the other two poles, one on each side between the forward pole and the back pole.

Wrap Straps around poles and buckle tightly at the junction.

Wrap the cover around the poles so that they overlap above the oval door opening.  Align the lace pin holes on the top piece with the corresponding holes on the lower piece.  Insert the lacing pins into one set of holes on the opposite side.  Repeat with the holes at the bottom of the door opening or if you prefer not having a threshold, these lace pins can be left out. 

Place the smoke flap dowel through the rubber ring on the outside of each of the main tripod pole and then slide the end of the dowel into the pocket on the corner of the smoke flap. 

After the dowel is slid into the rubber rings on the side of the poles, you may need to secure the back of the dowels to the back pole.  This can be done with the large rubber band. 

Stake down the base of the tipi and adjust the pole placement as needed.
