The Britches pattern is true to the style developed by the federal government for issue during the Civil War. Complete with watch pocket and suspender buttons. All Sizes from 28" to 52" waist. Includes fitting tips for women.

Suggest Fabric To Use: Lightweight to heavyweight fabrics: Denim, Canvas, Corduroy, Twill, Homespun, Wool Flannel, Lining fabric should match in color to the outer fabric: Lightweight Twill, Chambray, Broadcloth, Poplin.

Notions: Thread, 6 buttons 5/8" in diameter (5 for sizes 28 to 34), 6 snap together "Bachelor Buttons" for the suspenders, a 1 in wide 2- prong button, cotton twill seam binding 1/8" yard.

Amount Of Fabric To Buy:  44" Wide without nap - 4 1/2 to 4 3/4 yard.

The Trailblazer Shirt Package contains four different styles: The Jim Bridger, Kit Carson, Jedediah Smith, and John C. Fremont. These shirt styles were commonly worn from the late 1700's through the Civil War. Fits all sizes from a 30" chest to 68' chest.

Suggest Fabric To Use:   Lightweight to medium weight fabrics: Homespun, Linsey-Woolsey, Flannel (Cotton or Light Wool), Challis, Calico, Lawn Batiste, Broadcloth, Linen, Osnaburg, Silk Broadcloth, Muslin, Gauze, Gingham, Chambray, Poplin.

Notions: Thread,  the Kit Carson 11 buttons 1/2" or larger, The Jedediah Smith 13 buttons 1/2" or larger, The Jim Bridger, 18 buttons 1/2" or larger, The John C. Fremont,  one hook and eye, 6 buttons 1/2" or larger.

Amount Of Fabric To Buy: Without Nap 44" wide - 4 1/2 to 4 3/4 yard.

Broadfall style pants were from the late 1700's to 1800,s  This pattern covers all sizes from 30" to 54" waist. The original had a baggy seat, this pattern includes options for the more modern seat.

Suggest Fabric To Use: Duck Canvas, Hopsacking, Heavy-Musin or Primitve type fabrics. Linen, Linen-Cotton Blend, Linsey-Woolsey, Wool Flannel, Blanket Wool.

Originally designed to cut the wind and trail dust off the riders cloths. Designed to be true in detail to the garment that came into existence prior to the Civil War. It has a split tail to accommodate horseback riding and two large waist pockets. Each pattern package includes an optional short version (Barn Coat)Comes in chest sizes 36" to 52".

Notions: Thread, one decorative stick pin 2" long. One hook and eye fastener for accommodating a 5/8" band, one lightweight adjuster for a 5/8" band.

Four different 1880's vest patterns. The Prescott,  Dodge City, Tombstone, and the Virginia. This pattern package contains all components and instructions for fabric and the four different vest styles. sizes from 34" to 58" chest.

Suggested Fabrics To Use: Medium to heavyweight fabric: Cotton & Woolens, Linen, Denim, Corduoy, Twill, Canvas, Poplin, Tapestry, Brocade, Soft Suede, Soft Smooth Leather.
