The Colt Navy Style Flask was widely used with percussion revolvers. The body is embossed with the "Cannon and Stand of Flags" emblem. It has a brass lever type head and holds about 8 oz. of black powder. It is used with the .44 and .36 caliber pistols.  The Remington flask is noted by  its embossed  hunting bird dog scene.  It is slightly small than the Colt style and holds about 6 oz of powder.
