This Classic American Pistol was used during the war of Independence and by the Pioneers that moved West. It has a perfect grip and extreme accuracy. The Kit has been previously assembled and comes assembled. The barrel is not blued or browned but has been through an antirust treatment. The lock is assembled and finished, the Walnut or Maple stock needs to be sanded smooth and finished. The metal furniture needs to be polished. (some nose caps are steel and some are brass) The .45 and .50 cal. Kentucky Kits have a 1 in 18 twist 12 grove 10 3/8" long barrel, and the .54 cal .Kentucky Kits has a 1 in 23 twist 7 grove 10 3/8" long barrel, The kits are 15 3/8" overall length and weigh 2.31 lbs.
