The Ghost tang sight design is inspired by several sight models used in the 1800s and is useful for active shooting scenarios like hunting. The sight is adjustable in elevation (threaded eye piece) and windage (dovetailed eye piece base block). The sight comes with two eye pieces: smaller ring is used for target shooting and the larger ring is used for low-light conditions. Mounting distance between screw holes center-to-center is 1-3/4". This sight is commonly used with the following Pedersoli models: Traditional Hawken, Kodiak Express, Side by Side blackpowder shotgun (requires front sight height of 17mm), and the blackpowder Howdah pistol (requires front sight height of 14mm).

PEEP SIGHT
The peep sight is suitable for use on rifles having a three inch tang where the tang screw is approximately 1.5" from the breech and can be mounting either using the original tang screw or with the suppled polished and browned, 8-32 flat head lock bolt. This screw is recommended as it affords a more rigid mounting and can be cut to proper length. The sight is not suitable for long lollypop or Hawken type tangs due to the longer tang screw position and the height of the staff.
The sight is intended to be used in conjunction with the existing barrel sights and flipped up for longer range shots or when more precise sight definition is desired. It is adjustable for elevation by moving the orifice disc and windage is adjusted by turning the pivot screw.
The aperture diameter is 0.070” and is blackened to reduce glare.
Because different rifles have different wrist geometry, the sight base is slotted and can be positioned forward or back to provide a greater range of elevation adjustment and it is slightly curved to lay flay on a curved tang.
