The Possible Cap & Ball Nipples are manufactured from 416 alloy (12% Chromium), stainless alloy, Heat treated to 40/45 Rockwell Hardness. Our nipples have tapered cones made to perfectly fit the CCI brand No. 11 standard cap. All nipples have a small base hole (.028”) to greatly reduce the amount of escaping powder gases. A small base hole is preferred by many muzzle loading experts. 416 Stainless Alloy is longer lasting , stronger, tougher, and will give you more hammer blows than the famous Ampco bronze nipples, now obsolete.
